That is what the boy tries to achieve. He makes his aunt think that he would go to a gooseberry garden and sneaks into the forbidden lumber-room. The story is written from the third person. The general atmosphere can be characterized as humorous, sarcastic in some moments, emotional. The stress reaches the climax at the moment when the boy enters the lumber-room and looks at the picture, trying to solve the decision for the man on this picture, surrounded by wolves.
