This article is dedicated to the features of teaching physiology at the faculty of foreign students in SHEI «Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University» for the transition to credit-modular system of training. The department initiated interdisciplinary seminars integration into the learning process of computer-based learning tools (the use of modern educational and scientific programs, viewing photos, videos, including those of algorithms of practical skills, computer virtual models of various physiological processes in body of electronic atlases of animation effects and voice memo). An important aspect of educational work is the increasing role of standardization of assessment of student learning and the introduction of an integrated licensing examination to test ?STEP 1?. At the same time, in the preparation of foreign students in the theoretical departments, a number of problematic items, primarily on the work of English-speaking students: the language barrier, which has its own characteristics according to place of residence, especially intercultural communication. Considering these aspects will improve basic knowledge of future professionals.
