Особливості вербалізації концепту REFUGEE у політичному дискурсі - Статья

Ключовим репрезентантом концепту REFUGEE є лексема refugee, яка за даними тлумачних словників англійської мови має такі значення: - a person who has escaped from their own country for political, religious, or economic reasons or because of a war [2]; На сайті Управління Верховного комісара ООН у справах біженців подані такі лексичні одиниці англійської мови, що вербалізують концепт REFUGEE: A refugee is someone who has been forced to flee his or her country because of persecution, war, or violence. Проаналізувавши подані дефініції та синонімічні ряди можемо стверджувати, що найчастіше вербалізаторами концепту REFUGEE виступають лексеми refugee, asylum seeker, displaced person, а головною концептуальною ознакою досліджуваного концепту є ‘вимушене переселення та пошук нового місця проживання’ (пор.: someone who has been forced to flee his or her country; who has escaped from their own country; who has left the place where they lived; flees their own country and seek sanctuary in another country тощо). Організація африканської єдності (ОАЄ) у конвенції 1969 року, яка регулює конкретні аспекти проблем біженців в Африці, доповнює визначення терміна «біженець», поданого у Конвенції 1951 року, таким пунктом: “The term «refugee» shall also apply to every person who, owing to external aggression, occupation, foreign domination or events seriously disturbing public order in either part or the whole of his country of origin or nationality, is compelled to leave his place of habitual residence in order to seek refuge in another place outside his country of origin or nationality ”[8]. Після кризи біженців у вісімдесятих роках у Латинській Америці Організація Американських Держав прийняла Картахенську декларацію щодо біженців (1984 р.), у якій йдеться, що як доповнення до Конвенції 1951 року біженцями слід вважати також таких осіб: “...persons who have fled their country because their lives, safety or freedom have been threatened by generalized violence, foreign aggression, internal conflicts, massive violation of human rights or other circumstances which have seriously disturbed public order” [3].
