He was founder of an immoralist (anti-death) philosophy emphasizing “the common task” of resurrecting the dead through scientific means. Since the end of the Cold War, his thought has received renewed interest and advocacy in Russia and elsewhere - for example, in connection with cryonics (cryonic hibernation) and prolongevity.
